Crafting With Burlap

What should I do with the Burlap sack that I just got from work?  I found all of these ideas on Pinterest, but none of them are really speaking to me. I like the pillow for sure, but the piece of Burlap that I have has a design printed on it. I think that the re-upholstery of the furniture is lovely, so great, but I think that that kind of thing requires actual skill to make it look good. I like the simple sign for "Laundry". I could imagine a bunch of signs like that at a wedding or a party; "Dancing, Food, Photo-booth..." I think that my favorite is the headboard, that's amazing to me. If I had more burlap than I would probably do that, but alas I only have one sack. We shall see what happens, I will post pictures of what I decide to do.

Photos from around the house

Yesterday morning I woke up with the crafting fever. I was unstoppable. I made a bunch of things and everything turned out really well.
--Tape
--It's turtleneck weather here.
--That paper thing is like a paper snowflake but better
--Pinwheels are easy to make, who knew?
--Variation on the "paper thing" pictured earlier
--I put an eye patch on that cat and a sunset in the background

Photos From Around the House

-Been knitting up a storm over here.
-I love the way that our house looks at night.
-Our house was so messy this morning. Sometimes mess is beautiful.
-I got these "grapes" from the farmers market. They are called Muscadines. So good.

Best Wedding Blogs

I AM NOT GETTING MARRIED (anytime soon), but I do love to look at photos of other people's weddings.

I am going to share 5 photos of beautiful wedding ideas:

And these are my 5 of my favorite wedding blogs:

Photos from around the house

--I have always thought that a cool photo project would be a bunch of black and white photos that were         of things that we associate strongly with certain colors (those flowers are really yellow).
--The porch is real nice this time of year.
--These days I cannot drink enough coffee.
--Big week for shows. Unfortunately Bird Man was canceled, but First Aid Kit rocked the house.
--I got that plaid skirt. It's from Pendleton. I love it. That skirt is vintage, but I found one like it here
--It's amazing how lighting candles changes the mood so much.
--I love keeping flowers in the house.
--Handmade Napkins.
--So happy about something.

Heading Home

I am heading home for a little visit soon. I am so excited. I love the farm so much. While I am there I am going to do a million things.

-play with my nieces and nephews
-say hi to the cows
-go on a canoeing trip with my sister
-help my parents in the garden
-eat and eat and eat
-jump on the trampoline
-swim in the pool
-pick food from the garden

I cannot wait to see my family. Family is the best. As my parents get older I value the time that I spend with them more and more. It's crazy to think that they won't always be there.
