Writing Letters

Using the USPS is not so common place these days, for every letter written a hundred emails are sent (I just made that up). But you get the point, it's more time consuming to write letters. I do it because I care more about what I say when I write it down. It's hard to care when your hand doesn't shape each letter. I don't feel the same connection with the emails that I sent as the letters that I drop in the mail. Letter writing feels like art to me, the placement of the address, the indentation of the paragraphs, the signature, the reciprocity, and the expectant waiting for the reply.
