I love to make bread so much. I have been making this one recipe for the last few weeks and it's just getting better and better.
The recipe comes for the New York Times and it took the world by storm a few years ago. I am just jumping on the bandwagon, but I have no shame.

Chalkboard Chic
There is a wall in our house that we used to cover with a tapestry, but it didn't actually look that good. So I decided that I would paint a chalkboard on the wall. It was so easy and so fun and shhhh we haven't told the landlord about it yet.
I really love to write messages to people on the chalkboard, snap a picture and then send the picture to them.

Disposable Camera
When my sister was in town she brought a Disposable Camera with her. Some of the pictures developed well and others did not, such is the way with DC's.
Why did I paint my steps?
Sometimes home improvement goes so wrong:

I mean that color? It's practically glowing...
Leftover Buttercream
So I made some buttercream frosting last night and I ended up with way more than I needed. I didn't want to a. eat all the buttercream, or b. waste it, so I did a little google search about what to do with leftover frosting. A very wise person said that you should make buttercream truffles, click here to get the play by play on how to make them. Oh my, I thought, what a good idea. So I did it and the truffles turned out great.
Couple Photography
Why? Why do couples like to take pictures of themselves together? It's gross. It really is. Like all those pictures on facebook that make you feel queasy. Is it because we feel jealous that we don't like couple photos? Or is it simply because it is lame? I really don't know how to feel. I also have no defense for these photos, but do you see how cute those birthday hats are?
My Sister: Moriah Spicer

Crayons/Bleubrid Vintage
I love Bleubird Vintage. I follow her on Instagram and I read the blog every every every day. I really loved the post from a while back about making crayons.
It is really easy to make these. Peel paper off crayons, break into small pieces, heat oven to 275 degrees, divide crayon pieces equally among cups, and melt for about 6-8 minutes.
